कोयलिया की कूक सुनत ही 

सब रैना जाग बीती

अब और सहा ना जाए ||

कैसे नींद आवे, न सुहावे

Interpretation:

The sweet sound of the Koyal (Cuckoo) bird fills the night. Yet, I can't sleep. 

I keep thinking of when I'll see you next. Being apart is unbearable torture.
